Viagra is a world renowned male impotence drug that has an extremely reliable tried and tested formula. Viagra starts to take effect in as less as 30 minutes and the effects are known to last for 4 hours or more.
Usage
Medication must always be taken as advised by your medical practitioner/physician. If you are unsure, then please contact your physician for precise instructions. On the other hand, the medicine label usually contains dosage instructions which also may be followed.
It’s different strokes for different folks. In some people, viagra is known to work best when taken just 30 mins prior to commencing sexual activity. But in others, the effects of viagra last for as long as 4 hours. So, even that may be the right time to take it.
However, in most cases, you must take only one pill in a 24 hour period unless advised otherwise.

Viagra is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor and initiates blood flow into the penis thereby helping in erection during sex.
Missed Dose
Being an erectile dysfunction drug, it should only be used when you wish to have sex. Do not use it every day or on a fixed dosage unless necessary.
Storage
Viagra must be stored at a cool and dark place that prevents it from direct exposure to sunlight. It should also be protected from kids and pets. You can store it at room temperature between 15-30 degrees C.
Warning/Precautions
If you are allergic to any ingredient in viagra (you may check medicine label) then please do not use it without consulting your doctor.
You must also avoid using viagra if you have conditions like chest pain or a heart disease or have been asked to refrain from sexual activity.
Ensure that your doctor is aware of your past and current medical history before you start any new treatment or medication. This must include any and all diseases that you have suffered /suffer from, all subscription and over the counter medication that you are taking, including vitamins and herbal supplements. This will help avoid a possible interaction or allergy.
In some cases, the medication might be altered or require special attention if you suffer from conditions like sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma (a disease of the bone marrow), or leukemia.
Viagra is known to make some people dizzy or drowsy. And if you consume alcoholic beverages, then the chances of this happening increase greatly. Hence, alcohol and alcoholic beverages must be strictly avoided while taking viagra. If you have experienced drowsiness after taking viagra, then avoid tasks that require mental alertness for example, driving, handling heavy equipment or machinery etc.
Side Effects
It is common to experience some temporary and mildly annoying side effects as the body adjusts to the new drug. These rarely require any special medical attention and usually fade away automatically.
These include warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest; stuffy nose; headache; upset stomach; or back pain.
But, if they refuse to fade away or become bothersome, then seek medical attention immediately.
On the other hand, if you experience serious side effects like sudden vision loss; ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss; chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling; irregular heartbeat; swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet; shortness of breath; vision changes; feeling light-headed, fainting; or penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer.
Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of these side effects.
